Evelyn Marie Schaffer (She/Her) is an emerging soprano whose engaging performances have enabled her to perform internationally in Hungary, Austria, and France. In her home province of Alberta, she has performed with NUOVA Vocal Arts, Pop Goes the Opera, and the Ensemble for Lyrical Operetta Productions Edmonton. In recital, Evelyn has performed as an emerging artist with Juno Award-winning ensemble Rosa Barocca in their annual production of Messiah. Selected roles include Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, Mrs. Nordstrom in A Little Night Music, Madeleine Astor in Titanic, and Suzanne in Un Mari à la Porte.

Evelyn holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Alberta, a Performer Certificate from the Franz-Schubert-Institut, and a Post-Baccalaureate Vocal Performance and Pedagogy Certificate from Concordia University of Edmonton. Evelyn is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Voice Performance at Western Ontario’s Don Wright Faculty of Music.

In addition to her studies, Evelyn is a current member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and the Alberta Registered Music Teachers' Association (ARMTA) and teaches voice and piano lessons out of her personal studio, Evelyn Marie Music Studio.
